The new 2013 Honda CRF450R is an amazing dirt bike that will be launched for next year’s editions. Unlike her 2012 sister, this Honda CRF has a few improved features, and those who got the chance to drive-test it agreed that the experience was satisfying and that, while it seems a bit smaller, this is actually helpful once you’re on it. Easy to handle, the 2013 Honda CRF450R remains under your control even when you get tired. This motorbike is great for dirt ride competitions, because its smaller chassis makes easy to control and do any tricks. Though manufacturers say it actually gained a few pounds more than its 2012 sister, this Honda is still among the easiest in its category.
The 2013 Honda will have two inlet boots, hydraulic clutch and center mounted shock. Like we mentioned before, one of the first changes that strikes you is the different chassis, but the fork was also replaced with what they call all-new air, a Pneumatic Spring Fork from KYB PSF. While the concept for this fork is not new, it has been improved and perfected over the years and today it is a great addition to bikes like the 2013 Honda CRF450R. Dirt bike lovers will admire how manufacturers tried to centralize its mass by making a shorter subframe; its twin mufflers were tucked in, probably for design and aerodynamics reasons, but it panned out because the bike looks absolutely spectacular.
The new 2013 Honda CRF450R is indeed an improvement from its 2012 predecessor, and one can observe this in the modifications brought to the piston or the cam; it is also fitted with bigger exhaust valves, a better lubrication of the cylinder, 6-spring clutch and a more powerful transmission to handle any quick commands. Indeed, the new 2013 Honda 450 will be a great ride, but not only due to its mass centralization, but thanks to its smooth power delivery as well, which will make riding it seem easy and light.
The bike is very well balanced, and it easily handles any pressure from the driver or the rough terrain. This Honda works very well with its rider, so anyone who gets to ride it will feel what a great collaboration partner it is even in the most difficult of situations and in the tightest corners of them all. For more details, we’ll just have to see how this dirt bike handles future competitions and if she can be a prize-winner.
